The National Association for Research Nutrition (NARN), formerly the National Association of Bionutritionists, is a professional organization of Registered Dietitians, other nutrition-trained professionals, and business associates who are engaged in nutrition-related research across the United States. Since 1992, our association has been a key provider of resources, mentoring, education and other support for the nutrition research community.  Many of our members are employed by NCATS-funded research centers such as Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) centers, previously funded General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) sites, or the NIH Clinical Center.

This website is designed to provide information to NARN members and to improve communication between research dietitians and other nutrition research professionals. A wide variety of information on research diets and test meals, administrative matters, current and past newsletters, association by-laws, and other relevant internet links are included.

The information contained herein is not meant to provide dietary advice to the general public.
